How much does dog waste removal cost in New Jersey?

The short answer: with Poo Pals, most homes pay $20 per visit for weekly service with one dog. Twice-weekly visits are $19 each, bi-weekly visits are $34 and a monthly visit is $63. Each additional dog adds $2 to every visit ($5 on the monthly plan), and a one-time catch-up cleanup is $100 for the first hour.

You are billed one flat amount each month. Some months have more visits than others, but the bill never changes, so the number to compare is always the per-visit price. The table shows roughly what that flat monthly amount looks like for each plan.

PlanPer visitVisits per monthYour monthly bill
    Twice weekly$198–9about $165
    Weekly$204–5about $87
    Bi-weekly$342–3about $74
    Monthly$631$63
    One-time cleanup$100 first 60 min—+$25 per extra 30 min

Monthly figures are rounded and assume one dog; add $2 per additional dog per visit ($5 on the monthly plan). Your exact flat monthly amount is shown before you book.

    What changes the price

    • How many dogs. The only per-dog charge is $2 per additional dog, per visit, or $5 on the monthly plan. Two dogs on weekly service is $22 a visit.
    • How often we come. Weekly visits are quick, so they cost the least per visit. Monthly visits take longer and cost more each, though less in total.
    • How long since the last cleanup. A yard that has gone a season without attention starts with a one-time cleanup billed by time, then moves to a recurring plan.
    • Yard size. Standard pricing covers typical suburban lots. Large properties or multiple fenced areas are quoted individually.
    • Add-ons. Deodorizer, flea and tick treatment and dog walks are priced separately below and are never required.

    Which plan should you pick?

    • One or two dogs, yard used daily: weekly. It is the plan most of our Central and South Jersey customers choose.
    • Three or more dogs, or large breeds: twice weekly keeps up without the yard ever feeling behind.
    • One small dog, mostly indoors: bi-weekly is usually enough, and it is the lowest monthly cost of the frequent plans.
    • Vacation home or occasional use: monthly, or book one-time cleanups as needed.

    Pricing questions

With Poo Pals, weekly service is $20 per visit, twice weekly is $19 per visit, bi-weekly is $34 and monthly is $63. Every recurring price includes one dog; each additional dog is $2 more per visit ($5 on the monthly plan). A one-time cleanup is $100 for the first 60 minutes and $25 for each additional 30 minutes.

Less waste accumulates between visits, so each weekly stop is quicker. Bi-weekly and monthly visits take longer and are priced to match. Over a month, weekly service still costs a little more in total (about $87 versus about $74 for bi-weekly), but the yard never gets ahead of you.

No. All plans are month to month with no setup fee. Change frequency, pause for a vacation or cancel whenever you like.

Because a month is not exactly four weeks. Weekly service averages 4 to 5 visits a month, so the bill is a flat amount (about $87 for one dog) that stays the same every month. You are never charged more in a five-visit month or less in a four-visit month, and the price you compare is always the per-visit price.

Add $2 per additional dog, per visit, on the twice-weekly, weekly and bi-weekly plans. Two dogs on the weekly plan is $22 per visit; three dogs is $24. On the monthly plan each additional dog is $5 per visit, so two dogs is $68. The quote you get when you enter your ZIP code already includes the dog fee.

Start with a one-time cleanup, billed at $100 for the first hour and $25 per additional 30 minutes. Once the yard is caught up you can switch to a weekly or bi-weekly plan at the regular per-visit rate.

Standard pricing covers typical suburban lots in Central and South Jersey. Very large properties, multiple fenced areas or acreage are quoted individually; the ZIP-code quote tool will flag it if yours needs a custom price.

No. Pricing is the same year-round. If severe weather or snow cover makes a visit impossible we reschedule it rather than charge for a visit we could not complete.
